Dear friends! The traditional Lantern Festival is just around the corner!
The Lantern Festival, celebrated on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations. It symbolizes the reunion of families and the arrival of spring. Traditionally, people light and display lanterns, solve riddles attached to them, and eat tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), which represent unity and togetherness. The festival is also associated with various cultural activities, such as lion dances and dragon dances, emphasizing joy and prosperity for the coming year. Overall, the Lantern Festival is a time of celebration, hope, and the pursuit of happiness.
