Flood besieges luxury villa district in central China

A photo shows that a lakeside villa district has been besieged by floods after a rainstorm in Wuhan on July 7, 2016. The only road connecting with the outside has been submerged. The villas have also been soaked in the floods. Local residents have to use boats as their main way of transport. The district is said to be the most luxurious villa district in the city. The average per-unit cost in the area is around 80 million yuan, or $12 million.
